I am a PhD candidate at the University of Southern California, My research focuses on the post-conflict behaviors of wild chimpanzees at Kanyawara, Kibale National Park, Uganda. I am also the Co-Director of the Kibale Snare Removal Program (KSRP) for the Kibale Chimpanzee Project at Kanyawara. KSRP strives to reduce human disturbance in the protected forest (by removing snares and reporting illegal poachers) and educate the local people on the dangerous impact snaring has on the protected wildlife, specifically the chimpanzees.
